Because you need a Wi-Fi connection to install the eSIM, you should install it before departure. Depending on the waiting period for each eSIM type, you can install it 30 days before your trip or less.

If you have already arrived in the country where you need to use the eSIM, you can install and activate it right after receiving the QR code.

Yes. You can still use voice/messaging apps such as Zalo, FaceTime, Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp, … while using eSIM.

Yes. To ensure your eSIM always gets the best mobile network, you should enable data roaming in your phone settings. This will not incur any additional mobile data charges for the eSIM.

Currently, all SIMPM data plans do not support top-ups. When your data allowance is used up, your internet connection will be interrupted or slowed down. If you want to continue using it, you can buy a new eSIM and activate it following the instructions.

Each QR code can only be scanned once. If you encounter any issues during eSIM installation and activation, please do not delete the eSIM—contact SIMPM immediately for timely support.
